Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator

Job Overview

 

We are seeking a compassionate and detail­-oriented individual to join our healthcare team as a Medical / Clinical Support Staff. In this role, you’ll assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, manage clinical and administrative tasks, and contribute to a safe and efficient clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Greet and orient patients; collect and document patient medical history and vital signs.

 

Prepare patients for examination and treatment; assist providers during clinical procedures.

 

Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, coordinate diagnostic tests and laboratory services.

 

Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR), scan/upload documentation, ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient data.

 

Administer medications or injections as permitted, collect specimens for laboratory tests, prepare and sterilise treatment rooms and instruments.

 

Assist in supplies inventory, ordering, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.

 

Respond to patient inquiries, provide patient education about treatments or follow-up care, and support patient comfort and safety.

 

Adhere to infection control, safety, regulatory and privacy (e.g., HIPAA or local equivalent) standards.

 

Collaborate with other clinical and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

High School diploma (minimum); Associate degree, diploma or certification in medical assisting / related field preferred.

Previous experience in a medical or clinical office setting is an advantage.

Ability to work flexible hours (including nights/weekends) if needed, depending on clinic/hospital operations.

 

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

 

May involve standing and moving around for extended periods, occasional lifting of equipment/supplies.

 

Often in a clinical environment where encountering blood, bodily fluids, infectious materials, sharp instruments is possible.

 

Use of standard office and clinical equipment (computers, phones, exam tables, diagnostic devices).

 

Adherence to strict hygiene, infection control and safety protocols.
